Deleting the empty lines will mess up your save, so don’t do that either. I don’t understand why they appear, but just ignore them because they don’t affect the pattern. Sometimes there may also be empty lines in the inventory section. Starting from the value directly after the last 100, there is a repeating pattern that represents what item type the value corresponds to. This indicates the beginning of the inventory section of the save, which will continue until two lines with a value of 999 mark the end of inventory.
